Dr. Sharron Williams

Association for Coaching (AC) Certified Life Coach
IPHM Certified Trauma Healing Coach

I believe every woman deserves the opportunity to discover her strengths, embrace her identity, and pursue a meaningful life.

With a doctoral background in psychology and extensive experience evaluating young children with developmental differences and disabilities, I understand the complex circumstances families may encounter when navigating developmental concerns and educational services.

While attention is often focused on the child, the mother's own well-being, identity, and aspirations deserve attention, too. That belief inspired Becoming By Grace.

My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and collaborative. We focus on your values, goals, and practical steps toward meaningful growth. My Christian faith informs my personal values, but mothers of all beliefs are welcome, and faith integration is always optional.

BECOMING BY GRACE

YOUR BELIEFS. YOUR VALUES. YOUR PATH.

Faith Integration Is Always Your Choice.

Becoming By Grace welcomes mothers of all faith backgrounds, including those who do not practice a religion. Coaching centers on your goals, values, and personal journey.

For clients who request it, Christian scripture, prayer, or spiritual reflection can be incorporated. For others, sessions remain nonreligious and focused on personal growth, practical goal-setting, and values-based change. There is no expectation to participate in religious practices.

GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently Asked Questions

What is life coaching, and how is it different from therapy?

Life coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process focused on personal growth and practical next steps. Coaching is not psychotherapy, psychological assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. If clinical support better meets your needs, an appropriate referral may be recommended.

Does my child need a formal diagnosis?

No. Mothers navigating developmental concerns, delays, disabilities, or additional support needs are welcome, whether or not their child has a formal diagnosis.

Is coaching appropriate if I am new to this journey—or have been navigating it for years?

Yes. Coaching is tailored to your circumstances, whether you are adjusting to new concerns or have spent years managing caregiving responsibilities.

Can you interpret my child’s diagnosis or provide educational advocacy?

Becoming By Grace does not provide psychological evaluations, diagnostic interpretation, individualized educational recommendations, or formal educational advocacy. Coaching can support your confidence, communication, and preparation for conversations with qualified professionals.

Do I need to be Christian?

No. All mothers are welcome, regardless of faith background. Prayer, scripture, or Christian reflection are included only if you request them.

Are sessions virtual?

Yes. All individual coaching sessions are conducted virtually and last 60 minutes. Please join from a private, comfortable location.

How much does coaching cost?

Individual 60-minute sessions are $225. The six-session Still Becoming program is $1,350.

What happens during a coaching consultation?

We discuss what brings you to coaching, explore your goals, explain the approach, and determine whether working together is a good fit.

Can I attend coaching while in therapy?

Coaching and therapy can sometimes complement one another when their roles are clearly distinguished. We can discuss whether coaching is appropriate for your goals.
